Dr. M.A.Hakim
Dr. M.A. Hakim popularly known as Dr.Neem Hakim because of his out most contribution in Neem ( Azarirachta indica) Research and Development) for last 30 years. He obtained Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Washington International University (WIU), USA, Master of Social Sciences ( MSS) in Social Welfare from Dhaka University Bangladesh and completed Bachelor of Law ( LLB ) from the same University and obtained graduation in Permaculture and Eco-village Design from Permaculture Institute of Australia (PIA). He also completed Permaculture Consultant course & Advanced Permaculture Design Course from Global Eco village Network, Denmark, Ecological Solutions and Sustainable Futures, Australia. He studied Herbalist course from Clayton College of Natural Health (CCNH), USA and Ayurveda in Bangladesh. He has written many books on medicinal plants and Herbs.
His remarkable writing is Cultivation, Processing and uses of Medicinal Plants, Catalogue of the Medicinal Plants of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Herbal Pharmacopeia. The International Centre for Integrated Herbal Research and Development (ICIHRD) has been established under his leadership.
A mother garden with huge rare medicinal plants has also been established by him at Shanti Mission, Baharpur, and District: Rajbari in Bangladesh. More than 200 herbal formulations have been developed him especially on Neem, Aloe Vera, Moringa and other 6 precious medicinal plants and herbs.
He is managing NEEM ORGANIC LTD, PERMATHERAPY HEALING CENTRE LTD, INSTITUTE OF PERMATHERAPY and GLOBAL CONSUMER CARE INITIATIVE LTD.
